Sabine Title Company issues title insurance policies on vacant and improved property located in Orange County, Texas. We insure both residential and commercial tracts of land for a variety of lenders, realtors, title insurance companies, attorneys, and special interest groups, such as the State of Texas and the United States of America. We typically do a historical "run" of the title to a property, and then based on our examination of that title, we feel confident that we can insure that particular tract of land.
We also perform escrow closings on sales of existing properties, new home construction, refinance transactions, home equity loans, FHA and VA loans, and conventional loans. As a bonded escrow agent, we hold all monies and documents "in escrow" and in our possession until a transaction closes and funds. After the transaction has closed and funded, we deliver the sales proceeds to the seller if this is a sale, and then deliver the documents to the appropriate County Clerk's office for recording on the public record.
